Painting Competition Held Across More Than 1,234 Schools in Rajnandgaon District

As part of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, a painting competition on the theme “Mere Sapno Ka Bharat” (My Dream India) was organised on September 18 across more than 1,234 government, private and aided schools in Rajnandgaon district.
The activity was organised with the objective of providing students an opportunity to express their creativity, imagination and thoughts about a developed India. Students participated enthusiastically and used paintings and artwork to portray their dreams and imagination about India’s development journey and the concept of a developed India.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to present their creative expressions on themes related to the country’s development journey and achievements over the past 25 years, as well as the vision of a developed India. Through colours and imagination, students depicted their vision of the India they dream of.
The activity also sought to encourage students to develop their thinking around national development, innovation, self-reliance and the future of India.
Students’ Paintings to Be Displayed in Schools on September 19
An exhibition of the paintings and artwork prepared by students will be organised in all schools on September 19. The exhibitions will showcase students’ views and dreams concerning India’s development journey and the vision of a developed India through their artwork.
Parents of students, members of the School Management Committee (SMC), School Management and Development Committee (SMDC), public representatives and members of self-help groups will be invited to the exhibitions.
The objective of the exhibitions is to encourage students’ creative expression while also promoting greater participation between schools and the community.
Speech Competition and Nyohta Bhoj Also Scheduled
Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a speech competition on the theme “Mere Sapno Ka Bharat” will also be organised at the school level on September 19. Through the competition, students will express their views on the concept of a developed India, the country’s achievements and their vision for India’s future.
Schools will also organise Nyohta Bhoj, wherever possible.
Through these activities, efforts are being made to promote creativity among students, a positive outlook towards the country and awareness about their role in building a developed India.
