Student Youth Forum Organises Health Awareness and Blood Donation Activities from August 1 to 25 on Mayor Madhusudan Yadav’s Birthday

In a unique initiative aimed at linking birthday celebrations with social service, the Student Youth Forum is organising a “Seva Mahotsav” from August 1 to August 25 on the occasion of Rajnandgaon Mayor Madhusudan Yadav’s birthday.

The campaign seeks to convey the message that birthdays can be celebrated not merely as personal occasions but by connecting them with service, health awareness and social responsibility.

As part of the campaign, blood group, haemoglobin and sickle cell testing camps will be organised at higher secondary schools across the city.

Under the theme “Rajnandgaon Banega Raktveeron Ka Shahar”, blood donation camps will also be organised at Gram Vishnupur on August 15, the Mayor’s Office in Civil Lines on August 23, and Gram Nangaldah on August 25.

Health Screening Camp Held at Thakur Pyarelal School

As part of the initiative, a blood group, haemoglobin and sickle cell testing camp was organised at Thakur Pyarelal School in the city.

A large number of students enthusiastically participated in the camp and underwent health screening.

To encourage greater health awareness among students, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav personally visited the camp. He interacted with the students, encouraged them and appreciated the service initiative being undertaken by the Student Youth Forum.

‘Connecting Birthdays with Service Is Inspiring’

Mayor Madhusudan Yadav said connecting a birthday with service and social welfare is a positive and inspiring initiative.

Seva Mahotsav to Continue Till August 25

Office-bearers of the Student Youth Forum said the “Seva Mahotsav” is being organised from August 1 to August 25 through various service and public awareness activities.

The objective of the campaign is to connect young people with service initiatives and create a positive environment in society around health awareness and social responsibility.

Teachers of the school, students, and office-bearers and workers of the Student Youth Forum were present on the occasion.

Following the surgery, he is receiving speech and hearing therapy at a Regional Rehabilitation Centre.

Final Rehearsal Held for Independence Day Celebrations in Rajnandgaon

The final rehearsal for the district-level Independence Day celebrations was held at the Shaurya Parade Ground of the Police Training School in Rajnandgaon. Collector Jitendra Yadav reviewed the arrangements, while Zila Panchayat CEO Durga Prasad Adhikari performed the role of chief guest and hoisted the national flag. A total of 15 platoons will participate in the parade.

FCRA Amendment Bill: Santosh Pandey Backs Proposed Changes, Says Objections Should Be Raised Before JPC

The Rajnandgaon Agriculture Department conducted surprise inspections at 25 pesticide-selling establishments during the Kharif season.
