In the vote counting for the Delhi Assembly elections, surprising trends have emerged. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is heading towards a clear majority, while Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) top leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Dy CM Manish Sisodiya has lost their election.Also Dy CM Manish Sisodiya has lost his Jangpura seat by a narrow margin of 600 votes.Sattyendra Jain too has list his seat.

Kejriwal has lost to BJP’s Pravesh Sharma by 3,182 votes, failing to even secure the number of votes he had won in previous elections.
Atishi, the current Chief Minister of Delhi, was also trailing in her constituency but finaly she won. AAP’s vocal leader, Saurabh Bharadwaj, is struggling as well, falling behind the BJP candidate in his area.
In the New Delhi constituency, Kejriwal was trailing right from the beginning of the vote count and ultimately lost to Pravesh Sharma of the BJP. Following this result, Pravesh Sharma has gone to meet Amit Shah, and he is likely to be named the next Chief Minister.

During the early rounds of counting, Kejriwal was behind by 225 votes, and as the counting progressed, the margin kept fluctuating. However, by the sixth round, the gap became decisive.
Meanwhile, Congress candidate Sushil Dixit, son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, finished in third place.
