The 46th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated with pomp, unity, and patriotic enthusiasm at the party office in Rajnandgaon. The event commenced at 7 PM with the flag hoisting ceremony in front of the statue of revered party stalwart Late Shivkumar Shastri, followed by a spirited rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Ekta Agrahari.
Amid resounding chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai BJP”, the celebration reflected both pride in the party’s legacy and a vision for the future. District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput outlined the upcoming “Seva Pakhwada”, a fortnight of service and outreach activities leading up to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14.
Rajput urged all party workers to actively participate in the campaign to honor the founding principles of the BJP. The evening also featured fireworks, adding to the festive atmosphere.
During the address, newly appointed Chairman of the Labour Welfare Board Yogesh Dutt Mishra reflected on the structural journey of the party. Senior leaders Santosh Agrawal and Komal Singh Rajput revisited the struggles faced by the party in its early years and celebrated its growth and current strength.
Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma extended his greetings and encouraged every BJP member to contribute meaningfully during the upcoming Seva Pakhwada.
A large number of BJP workers and senior leaders were present, including Santosh Agrawal, Sachin Baghel, Yogesh Dutt Mishra, General Secretary Saurabh Kothari, and prominent grassroots leaders such as Naresh Baind Patli, Sumit Bhatia, Golu Gupta, Tarun Lehrawani, Hakim Khan, Brijmohan Joshi, Irfan Khan, and many more. The gathering was a testament to the strong grassroots network and unity within the party ranks.
The program concluded with a renewed sense of commitment towards party ideals and public service.
