Grand Jyoti Kalash Ceremony Held at Pahadi Path Temple
A grand Jyoti Kalash ceremony was organized at Pahadi Path Dev Sthal, located in Joratarai Mangata Jungle, Station Mudipar, Rajnandgaon, during Chaitra Navratri 2025. The event, led by the Pahadi Path Dev Sthal Utthan Samiti, saw the lighting of 510 sacred Jyoti Kalash as devotees gathered to seek divine blessings.
Sacred Rituals and Festive Celebrations
The ceremony began with a traditional puja and archana, conducted by a priest, followed by the lighting of Jyoti Kalash by Santosh Kumar Sahu, President of the Committee. On this auspicious occasion, Sahu extended warm greetings to all devotees and residents, wishing them a prosperous Chaitra Navratri and Hindu New Year.
Breakdown of Jyoti Kalash Lighting
- 110 ghee lamps (Ghrita Jyoti Kalash) were established.
- 400 oil lamps (Taila Jyoti Kalash) were lit.
- Total: 510 Jyoti Kalash illuminated the sacred site.
New Installations and Devotee Offerings
This year, the temple premises witnessed a significant addition with the installation of a majestic idol of Lord Shiva on the occasion of Mahashivratri. This new installation has become a major center of attraction for devotees.
“Every devotee’s wish is fulfilled at Pahadi Path Baba and Mata Temple. With the blessings of the deity, all desires come true,” said Santosh Kumar Sahu.
The committee continues to work towards temple development, introducing new facilities to enhance the spiritual experience of devotees visiting the revered site.
