Congress candidate Nikhil’s affiliation to NSUI May Intensify The Political Atmosphere
Abhishek Singh Entered the Election Battle Ground
Rajnandgaon (BTI) – The election bugle for the municipal corporation in Rajnandgaon has been sounded, and a grand showdown is expected for the mayoral post. The Congress party has fielded former NSUI national secretary Nikhil Dwivedi against the BJP’s state vice president Madhusudan Yadav.
This highlights the significance of student organizations within political parties. Just as the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) holds great importance in the BJP, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) plays a crucial role in the Congress.
Probably during the election season, NSUI-affiliated students and leaders from across the state and the country may actively participate in the campaign, intensifying the political atmosphere in Rajnandgaon.
On the other hand, under the leadership of former MP Abhishek Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has also mobilized its team and entered the election battleground. Notably, just 14 months ago, during the state assembly elections, Abhishek Singh played a significant role in the campaign for Dr. Raman Singh, the current Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and former Chief Minister.
Tomorrow is the final date for withdrawing nominations and and after that, the election battle will take a new turn each day.
Both the party has started extensive campaigning by preparing a day today chart of their candidate’s sheduled visits and programmes.
