Rajnandgaon (BTI)-: Just two and a half days before the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a massive rally to showcase its strength and ensure the victory of its mayoral candidate and ward councilors. Leading the rally were BJP’s mayoral candidate Madhusudan Yadav, BJP National Executive Member Khubchand Parakh, Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey, and former MP Abhishek Singh.

The rally, which began from the BJP election office at Lohana Mahajan Wadi, saw enthusiastic party workers dancing to DJ beats, waving BJP’s election symbol, the lotus. As the rally progressed from Delhi Darwaza to Ramadhin Marg, more workers joined in. The crowd doubled when it moved through Shani Mandir Lane towards Gudakhu Line. By the time it reached Azad Chowk and Bharatmata Chowk, the procession had turned into a massive caravan.
The streets were filled with party workers and supporters, including men, women, and youth, all chanting loudly, “Our mayor should be like Madhu Bhaiya!” The rally then passed through Sadar Bazaar, Balgovind Chowk, Durga Chowk, and Brahmanpara Chowk before concluding at Manav Mandir Chowk. Throughout the route, common citizens welcomed mayoral candidate Madhusudan Yadav with flower garlands. Many ward candidates and their supporters joined the rally along the way, making it even more grand.
According to the BJP media cell, at the concluding meeting at Manav Mandir Chowk, mayoral candidate Madhusudan Yadav expressed his gratitude to party workers and citizens. He said he was overwhelmed by their enthusiasm and was confident that the hard work of BJP workers would result in a majority victory for the lotus symbol. Addressing the gathering, MP Santosh Pandey stated that the BJP’s historic victory in the Delhi Assembly elections had strengthened public trust in the party. He asserted that, just like in Delhi, the Congress would be completely wiped out in Rajnandgaon, paving the way for the BJP’s triumph.
