Newly appointed Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board, Yogeshdutt Mishra, continues to receive a warm welcome from laborers and social workers across the state. Following his appointment, Mishra has been actively engaged in public events, greeting citizens and acknowledging congratulations from well-wishers and fellow labour activists.
At his Raipur office, workers from across the state visited to extend their greetings. Similar grand receptions were organized in Bhilai and Rajnandgaon, where construction workers and members of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) gathered in large numbers to felicitate him with garlands and shawls, chanting slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Confidence in Modi Government’s Vision
During the event, BMS District Minister Naresh Kumar Sahu introduced Mishra and praised his leadership. Addressing a gathering of laborers from across the district, Mishra emphasized the Modi government’s impactful role in driving India’s economic momentum.
“Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working tirelessly on policies that are propelling the nation towards prosperity,” Mishra stated. “India’s development trajectory is now historic. Despite global shocks like the Trump Tariff Era, India stands tall and resilient. The strategic decisions and leadership style of PM Modi have earned global recognition.”
He further added that the tangible benefits of India’s economic rise will directly reach the common citizens, especially the working class, through various welfare schemes and employment initiatives.
Massive Support from Worker Community
The event was marked by the presence of several key BMS functionaries including:

- Gajanand Mishra – Vice President
- Gopal Das Sahu – Media In-Charge
- Jay Prakash Sahu, Tularam Verma, Keshav Ram Sinha, Gauleha Ram Dehre, Yogesh Sahu, Chandrashekhar Sahu, Chetan Sahu, Maniram Sahu, Vishnu Ram Sahu, Lomash Kumar Verma, and other union members.
Women leaders like Bharati Sharma and Dhaneshwari Sahu were also present in solidarity, showcasing inclusive support from all sections of society.
The event concluded with a shared resolve among the worker community to continue supporting the government’s welfare schemes and to work collectively for the economic empowerment of laborers across Chhattisgarh.
