Rajnandgaon (BTI): Newly appointed district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Komal Singh Rajput, asserted that the party is in a strong position for the upcoming urban local body and three-tier panchayat elections. He attributed this strength to the 15 years of development under former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh’s leadership.

Rajput emphasized that these elections are fundamentally a mandate of trust, earned over the past year through the BJP-led government’s dedicated governance. “We recently completed one year of governance under ‘Janadesh Parva’ and have declared this year as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’ (Atal Development Year) under the leadership of Vishnu Deo Sai. This is also the centenary year of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the architect of Chhattisgarh,” he stated.

Highlighting key achievements, Rajput mentioned:

#The Mahatari Vandan Yojana, benefiting women.
#Farmers receiving a fair price of ₹3,100 per quintal.
#Implementation of the New Education Policy, which has expanded employment opportunities for students.
Urban Development and BJP’s Commitment
Komal Singh Rajput underlined that the ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’ will prioritize infrastructure development, significantly benefiting urban local bodies. The party is committed to writing a new chapter of development in Chhattisgarh with its vision, “We built it, we will transform it.”

He further asserted that both the central and state BJP governments have delivered remarkable governance, with the past year proving that BJP does not merely make promises but fulfills them. “Now, we are taking this vision to every municipal body, district council, and ward, ensuring that the echo of development reaches every street and every home,” he added.

BJP’s mission is to ensure a clean, beautiful, and prosperous Chhattisgarh, providing transparent and accountable governance, in contrast to the corruption and mismanagement under the Congress regime.

Madhusudan Yadav to Win by a Landslide
Komal Singh Rajput expressed confidence in BJP’s senior leader and former MP, Madhusudan Yadav, stating that he remains deeply respected in Rajnandgaon. He predicted an overwhelming victory for Yadav, citing public discontent over five years of Congress-led corruption and inefficiency in the municipal corporation.

“With BJP’s dedicated governance and Madhusudan Yadav’s proactive leadership, Rajnandgaon will witness unprecedented development. I am confident that the people of Rajnandgaon will elect BJP councilors in almost all 51 wards, ensuring holistic progress for the city,” Rajput concluded.
