A grand celebration took place in Mokhli village under the Dongargaon constituency, where the Sahu community organized a special event on the occasion of Maa Karma Jayanti and the idol consecration ceremony. The chief guest at the event was Hon’ble Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey, who was welcomed with great enthusiasm by community members.

MP Santosh Pandey began his visit by offering prayers to Bhakt Mata Karma, invoking blessings for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of Chhattisgarh and its people. Following the flag hoisting ceremony of the Sahu Samaj, he was felicitated by the community.
In a key highlight of the event, MP Pandey cut the ribbon and inaugurated the newly constructed Karma Bhavan. Responding to the community’s request, he further announced a financial grant of ₹3 lakh for the construction of a shed at the Sahu Para community hall, signifying his support for grassroots development.

The event was attended by several prominent local leaders and dignitaries including Manish Kumar Sahu (Vice President, Janpad Panchayat Dongargaon), Tooman Lal Sahu, Bhuvan Lal Sahu (President, BJP Mandal Arjuni), Sohdra Sahu (Sarpanch, Mokhli), Pritam Sahu (Former Sarpanch, Chhuikhadan), and many others from the Sahu community and local villages.
The event served as both a cultural celebration and a symbol of active community engagement, drawing a large number of villagers who witnessed the inauguration and the MP’s address.
