BJP youth leader Neelu Sharma will officially take charge as the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board on Tuesday, April 16, in a formal ceremony to be held at 4 PM at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Gaurav Path, Raipur. The event will be graced by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with several cabinet ministers and senior BJP leaders.
Sharma’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to inject youthful energy and vision into the state’s tourism sector. The appointment was recently confirmed by the state government, recognizing Sharma’s growing influence within the party and his commitment to public service.
The occasion will also include a felicitation ceremony in honor of Sharma’s new role. Dignitaries attending the program will include Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh (who will chair the event), Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, and state ministers Ram Vichar Netam, Dayal Das Baghel, and Kedar Kashyap.
Other prominent attendees will include MPs Brijmohan Agrawal, Vijay Baghel, and Santosh Pandey, along with MLAs Kiran Singh Deo and Dharamlal Kaushik, and other senior BJP leaders and party workers.
The event is expected to highlight the government’s renewed focus on strengthening the state’s tourism infrastructure and promoting Chhattisgarh as a key destination on the national map.
