In recognition of her remarkable efforts in social welfare, women’s empowerment, de-addiction campaigns, promotion of girls’ education, arts and culture, literature, academic excellence, and environmental conservation, Principal Ved Kumari Sahu of Khairagarh was honored with the ‘Shakti Nari Samman 2025’ by the Chhattisgarh Teacher Art Talent Academy (Samagra Vikas Manch) on March 31, 2025, in Raipur.
The prestigious state-level award ceremony was held at Vrindavan Hall, Raipur, where prominent dignitaries graced the occasion. The award was conferred upon Ved Kumari Sahu by esteemed guests, including Raipur Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey, District Education Officer Shri Vijay Khandelwal, Dr. Nidhi Chandrakar from the ‘Udaan Nai Disha’ organization, and renowned Chhattisgarhi film actress Smt. Jageshwari Madariya Meshram.
