
Rajnandgaon (BTI) – With just four days left for the municipal elections in Rajnandgaon, the political atmosphere is heating up. In a significant setback for the Congress, Raja Gupta,President of the Agrahari community and former Alderman, along with 35 others, joined the BJP.
They were inducted into the party in the presence of former MP Abhishek Singh, BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, General Secretary Saurabh Kothari, and South Mandal President Prashant Gupta Golu. The new members included key figures from the Agrahari community, engineers, Ayurvedic doctors, professors, businessmen, and educated youth.
Abhishek Singh welcomed Prabhat Gupta and others by offering them BJP scarves and garlands, stating that their experience would benefit the party. Raja Gupta mentioned that he had faced neglect in the Congress and was influenced by the governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vishnu Deo Sai.
The new BJP members included Ram Kishore Gupta, Mukesh Devangan, Dhanraj Banjare, Santosh Jain, Chinmay Agrahari, Tanmay Patel, Rajat Agrahari, Deepak Pandey, Umesh Bharti, Vinod Tandon, Tamradhwaj Chandrakar, Siddharth Vaishnav, Mithilesh Srivas, Anuj Gupta, Santosh Verma, Dhaleshwar Sahu, Tushar Chhajed, Rajendra Markande, Avan Bharti, Ganesh Sharma, Rahul Sinha, Rakesh Maratha, Mohini Rani, Bhavna Verma, Hitesh Kumar, Prashant Patel, Domar Verma, and others.
