The Sushasan Tihar 2025 celebration turned out to be a significant turning point for Teli Tola village, located in the Ambagarh Chowki block of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district. During the festival of good governance, villagers submitted a request for the construction of a new primary school building, citing the poor condition of the existing structure.
Demonstrating administrative sensitivity and commitment to children’s education, District Collector Tulika Prajapati promptly approved ₹15 lakh from the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund. The decision was welcomed warmly by villagers, who expressed gratitude to the administration for prioritizing their needs.
The existing school building was in a dilapidated condition, posing risks to students and impacting their learning. The new school will not only ensure safety and comfort but also boost the morale of students and parents alike. The Rural Engineering Service has been appointed as the executing agency, and a timeline of 180 days has been set for project completion.
Villagers hailed the initiative as a fruitful outcome of Sushasan Tihar, emphasizing how effective governance can directly impact grassroots development. With the sanctioned funds, children of Teli Tola will soon have access to a modern, well-equipped educational space—a vital step toward improving rural education infrastructure.
