रायपुर में 11 अप्रैल 2025 को केंद्रीय कोयला एवं खान मंत्री श्री जी. किशन रेड्डी और छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय ने खनिज विभाग की उच्चस्तरीय समीक्षा बैठक की। इस दौरान देश के पहले लिथियम ब्लॉक का कंपोजिट लाइसेंस अनुबंध सौंपा गया और लौह अयस्क ब्लॉक्स के बिडर आदेश प्रदान किए गए। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने छत्तीसगढ़ को देश के कोयला उत्पादन में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाने के लिए सराहा। मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने खनन क्षेत्र में पारदर्शिता, तकनीकी दक्षता और सतत विकास को प्राथमिकता देने की बात कही। बैठक में खनिज संसाधनों के उपयोग, क्रिटिकल मिनरल्स के अन्वेषण और खनन प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के विकास के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की भी समीक्षा हुई। राज्य द्वारा 2024-25 में अर्जित 14,195 करोड़ रुपये के खनिज राजस्व और विभिन्न नवाचारों को महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि बताया गया।
