In a state-led initiative to raise awareness on water conservation, the “Neer aur Naari Jal Yatra” began in Rajnandgaon’s Rampur village. BJP State General Secretary Pawan Sai addressed the gathering, emphasizing community participation, especially women’s involvement, in preserving vital water sources through traditional and modern conservation methods.

Kiran Sahu, daughter of Narsingh Sahu from Rajnandgaon, brought immense pride to Chhattisgarh by securing three gold medals in the 4th Khelo Masters National Games held in Delhi. Under the ongoing Sushasan Tihar 2025 initiative, Teli Tola village in Ambagarh Chowki block has received a major boost as the district administration approved ₹15 lakh for the construction of a new primary school building. Responding swiftly to the villagers' request, Collector Tulika Prajapati sanctioned the amount from the District Mineral Foundation (DMF), ensuring a safer and better learning environment for local children.

In preparation for the upcoming municipal budget, Rajnandgaon Mayor Madhusudan Yadav convened a comprehensive review meeting with councillors from all 51 wards. The discussion focused on key civic issues including water supply, sanitation, electricity, and infrastructure development, with special emphasis on addressing the summer water crisis and incorporating ward-level feedback into the budget planning.
