प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से अभनपुर-रायपुर मेमू ट्रेन सेवा का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने 2,695 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से पूरी हो चुकी चार रेल परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और सात नई रेल परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखी। इस पहल से छत्तीसगढ़ में रेल सुविधाओं का विकास होगा, जिससे यात्रियों को किफायती और सुगम परिवहन उपलब्ध होगा तथा औद्योगिक विकास को गति मिलेगी।
