In a decisive move to curb illegal liquor activities, the Excise Department of Rajnandgaon seized 3.60 bulk litres of foreign liquor from Madhya Pradesh, 10 bulk litres of illicit country-made liquor, and 50 kilograms of mahua-based brewing material. Acting under the directives of Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, excise teams conducted back-to-back raids in Dongargarh and rural Rajnandgaon, registering cases and issuing strict instructions for ongoing inspections at liquor shops, hotels, and roadside eateries.
