"A Blueprint for a Strong and Self-Reliant India" – Santosh Pandey
Rajnandgaon (BTI)– Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Member of Parliament from Rajnandgaon, Santosh Pandey, lauded the Union Budget, calling it a “people’s budget.” He stated that this budget lays the foundation for a Strong India and serves as a roadmap for making India the world’s third-largest economy.
Highlighting key provisions, Pandey noted that the increase in the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loan limit will free farmers from the clutches of moneylenders. At the same time, the income tax exemption limit has been raised to ₹12 lakh, providing unprecedented relief to the middle class.
Pandey also praised the government for allocating funds to ensure the availability of cancer treatment in all district government hospitals and launching the new “PM Dhan-Dhanya Yojana” for farmers. He emphasized that these initiatives deserve immense appreciation.
Criticizing the approach of previous governments, Pandey remarked, “Earlier, the focus of budgets was on filling government coffers. However, under Modi Ji’s leadership, the priority has shifted to increasing citizens’ income and enhancing their savings.”
He further added that the budget comprehensively addresses various sectors, including farmers, the poor, the middle class, women, education, nutrition, healthcare, startups, innovation, and investment. According to him, this budget is a strategic roadmap for Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India.
